KALCOR Zirconium Corundum is recommended for high abrasion and high temperatures in various pneumatic and hydraulic components.
KALCOR® is a material composed of alumina and zirconia. It is recommended for particularly high abrasion and/or high temperatures, e. g. in cyclones and separators, in chutes for hot sinter or clinker, for mixers, pipelines, etc.

KALCRET-S Sprayable Hard Compound System to large surfaces quickly with no joints.
This zirconium corundum material has been engineered for good abrasion resistance and high temperature resistance up to 1,250°C / 2,282°F. KALCOR-S is produced by cold forming aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide raw materials into tiles, shaped elements and tube cylinders and then sintered.

Abresist Corporation's KALDETECT Wear Monitor System as a means of detecting wear in its protective linings. A low voltage electrical circuit is fitted to the outside diameter of ABRESIST®, ALRESIST®, KALCOR® linings in pipe or fittings. If the lining wears through, the circuit is interrupted and an alarm is triggered.
Even superior wear resistant linings do not have unlimited lifetimes, especially in cases of extremely abrasive materials and harsh operating conditions.

Abresist Kalenborn introduces 2 new KERAFLEX wear protection systems, consisting of KALOCER® High Alumina Ceramics or KALMETALL®W hard overlay welding plates vulcanized to a steel base. These systems are well suited where high abrasion and impact occur in combination. Maximum operating temperature is 176º F / 80º C.
